Books I’ve Been Bequeathed is a series of articles chronicling my cataloging journey through 660 science fiction novels that were bequeathed to me according to the will of a good friend (500 of which are Star Trek titles). Also bequeathed were a few magazines and comic books.
PART 1 is the story of how I came across the massive collection, whom they were bequeathed from.
PART II catalogues all the Star Trek TOS novels.
PART III catalogues all the Star Trek TNG novels.
PART IV catalogues all the Star Trek DS9 novels.
PART V catalogues all the Star Trek VOY & ENT novels.
PART VI catalogues the rest of the Star Trek novels, magazines, comics that don’t fall under any of the main series’ entrees.
The purpose of PART VII of Books I’ve Been Bequeathed is to share and catalogue any and all novels associated with author Anne McCaffrey. The person who bequeathed me the collection is notably a huge fan of McCaffrey’s extensive work in fiction. I’ll start with the Pern novels and go from there.

So many of her books I haven’t read yet! I seldom read a novel more than once, but I have kept The White Dragon and The Ship Who Sang on my shelf. I remember reading the Crystal Singer, too – and I don’t usually remember specific books for very long.

Woooo! So many… are you going to start becoming a McCaffrey buff? I’ve collected a few AM books over the years, but only read two (Ship Who Sang and Sassinak – which you saw my review of). Surprisingly, neither of them really impressed me haha. I’m still super jealous of that haul though!

I’ve got a few other books lined up as it is now, but I’m excited to read some of her Pern series!
