  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – New rumors for Wonder Woman’s costume hint that the inspiration shall come from Wonder Woman issue #600.
  • Fantastic Four – Simon Kinberg compares FF to Iron Man and Batman Begins.

  • Doctor Who – Singer/songwriter ‘Foxes‘ is to feature in an upcoming episode in Series 8.
  • X-Men: Days of Future Past – Joss Whedon says he is trying to avoid watching DoFP so as not to get any ideas from their version of Quicksilver. Which is smart in my opinion.
  • Jurassic World – The plot of the film has been revealed by director Colin Trevorrow.
  • Independence Day 2 – Getting a rewrite.
  • Edge of Tomorrow – The final trailer lands for EoT and, as always, it looks great. Can’t wait to review it for you guys next weekend.
  • LeVar Burton’s online kickstarter to raise $1M to bring back 90s kids show Reading Rainbow reaches nearly $2M in one day. His emotional reaction embedded.
  • Stargate – Roland Emmerich is to direct a new trilogy of Stargate films!
  • Super Smash Bros. – You can now play with GameCube controllers. (Very considerate).

  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Lee Pace seems really excited to have played Ronan the Accuser.
  • Doctor Who – SteMo discusses Peter Capaldi and the series 8.
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier – DVD/Blu-Ray are to be released on September 9th.
  • Doctor Who – Mark Gatiss’ acclaimed docudrama ‘An Adventure in Space and Time’ has been nominated for a Critics Choice Award.
  • The Name of the Wind – A collector’s deck of cards featuring The Name of the Wind characters is now available at The Tinker’s Pack!
  • Kingdom Hearts – KH HD Remix 2.5 gets some new screens of Sora and the gang, will release this year.
  • Dawn of the Planet of the Apes – New trailer lands.
  • Marvel Cinematic Universe – There will be NO Marvel One-Shot on the Captain America: The Winter soldier DVD or Blu-Ray. This is strange as they’ve been releasing one since the Thor release.
  • Ant-Man – Now that Edgar Wright has bowed out three names are up for taking the throne: Rawson Thurber, Adam McKay, & Ruben Fleischer.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods – There will be a limited theatrical screening of the new DBZ movie in America.
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Josh Brolin has been officially cast as the big bad, Thanos.
  • Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – The season one DVD and Blu-Ray details. Will arrive September 9th.
  • Transformers: Age of Extinction – Skrillex is working on the sound design.

  • Fantastic Four – According to Bleeding Cool’s new rumor, Marvel Comics is to drop all Fantastic Four comics in order to regain rights to the films?? Riiight.
  • Maleficent – Takes the top spot at the box office away from X-Men: Days of Future Past.
  • Ant-Man – Adam McKay will NOT be directing Marvel’s Ant-Man.
  • Dungeons & Dragons – Some new light on some of the mechanics of the 5th generation of D&D and the adventures you’ll find therein. Hint: more dragons.
  • Sherlock – Season 3 to stream on Netflix Monday. “Finally,” say I, and just about everyone else.
  • Marvel Cinematic Universe – Clark Gregg wants Agent Phil Coulson to cameo in the new Daredevil or Iron Fist series.
