Trailers You Might’ve Missed – The Legend of Korra: Book 3 (Trailer #1)

I posted a link to this last week in my weekly roundup, but again, you might’ve missed it. The trailer below is just a mashup of all things awesome that’ll come from Season 3 of the Nickelodeon show, a sequel series to the popular Avatar: The Last Airbender. This was too cool a cartoon trailer for me NOT to share it with you guys. It’s so awesome it actually had the hairs raised up on the back of my arms. And the catch? I HAVE NEVER WATCHED AN EPISODE OF THIS SERIES OR AVATAR.

What I said above wasn’t a joke. As a kid I never watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. But this trailer got me so hyped for season three, I’m going to go back and watch all of Avatar, and then The Legend of Korra. Thankfully my girlfriend is a huge fan of the original Avatar, and let me borrow her DVDs.

What are your thoughts? Would you recommend Avatar: The Last Airbender and/or The Legend of Korra to me? Have you seen the show(s) but not liked it? Or are you like me and think this is just too cool not to get into?

  2. You have got to give Avatar and Korra a try. I got Avatar and the first season of Korra for free on Amazon Prime. I said I was only going to watch the first few episodes of Avatar. I spent the entire week watching the whole series. I said I was only going to watch the free episodes of Korra. I held out a week before buying the second season.

      1. K good.
Although I’d skip most of the episodes before beginnings except maybe the first two episodes.

  3. Avatar is one of the best kids shows around, easily. At first I was worried how things would change with Avatar Korra, but the creators of the show are doing some amazing things, and it’s been getting better each season. Definitely worth the watch!
