This is an exciting time to be a geek. Ever since it was announced there’d be an Arrow spinoff starring The Flash, we collectively held our breath and crossed our fingers for the day we might see the two heroes spar on screen. Well, the CW gods have been kind, and we’re actually getting a two-part event next week. Starting on December 2, The Flash will begin the two-part crossover event with “The Flash vs. Arrow.” Arrow will close out the two-parter with The Brave and the Bold on the 3rd.
Check out both trailers for the crossover event:

In other news, the CW have passed on the reboot Supergirl series, and it’s been passed onto CBS. However! This little tidbit found in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly does give us hope that she may inhabit the same world as the Flash and Arrow. “Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it’s possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.“
Hoping the Flash wins. Inevitably, they’ll decide they’re equal, but, er… Green Arrow isn’t Grant Gustin.
