2015 was an immense year for genre fiction. And this year looks to be no different. After scouring the web to find the most anticipated books of 2016, I’ve never been more excited to dive into the year’s new reads. In the order the novels are released, take a look at some of the best science fiction and fantasy books we have to look forward to this year. Sadly, the top three most anticipated genre novels are absent from this list as they’re unlikely to arrive this year (Doors of Stone, Winds of Winter, and Oathbringer), but if that status changes, be sure I’ll update this list – as well as if any other big releases get scheduled for release this year.
