J.R.R. Tolkien and George R.R. Martin Go Head-to-Head in This Epic Rap Battle

Since Martin’s work with A Song of Ice and Fire boomed in popularity upon it’s arrival on the scene 20 years ago with A Game of Thrones, fans have wondered if there is a new Fantasy Grand Master taking over for Tolkien. GRRM vs JRRT. It’s a question many fans have honestly pondered and weighed, especially recently. Is George R.R. Martin a better writer than J.R.R. Tolkien? Is Middle Earth greater than Westeros? Is Game of Thrones better than The Lord of the Rings?

Well, now we have a new question to ponder: would J.R.R. Tolkien beat George R.R. Martin in a rap battle? Epic Rap Battles is here to answer that question… But now I’m more torn than ever. The video is a bit explicit, so earmuffs for the little ones!
