Are You Watching The Star Wars Show?

No, I’m not referring to Star Wars: The Clone Wars, or even Star Wars Rebels. And sadly there is, as of yet, no live-action Star Wars series. But thanks to the crew at Lucasfilm and StarWars.com, we have a new bite-sized way of appreciating the goings on in the Galaxy far, far away called The Star Wars Show. The official digital variety show has new episodes every Wednesday at 12 p.m. right over at StarWars.com.

Showcasing fan passion from all over the globe, its hosts Andi Gutierrez and Peter Townley interview unlikely personalities and bring you exclusive content, direct from Lucasfilm itself. And though most of it revolves around fan involvement with the series, we do get some fresh insight on Star Wars lore on occasion. In fact, in the second episode we got a first glimpse at Cienna Ree, the popular in-canon character who was so well realized in Claudia Gray’s Lost Stars.

Watch the first three episodes below, and follow the official Star Wars YouTube channel for more! The third episode takes a step closer to straightforward approach to Star Wars news, which is exciting because you’re hearing it directly from the source.

Episode four arrives at 12 p.m. today! Be sure to check it out.

  1. Episode one was like “Welcome to the Star Wars show, lets talk about Warcraft”. The third episode was a relief to me, I was starting to think that there wasn’t much Star Wars in this show. Looking forward to the future episodes.
