Another year, another successful convention. New York Comic Con outdoes itself each and every year. It was fortunate that Geekritique was eligible for press passes for the first time ever, as it opened a ton of doors for us, and we skipped a ton of lines. And, better than that? We were inundated with chances and opportunities for us to go to press events and interview creators, actors, and other personalities, like Yaya Han, David Petersen, and the cast of the Expanse. But Comic Con is much more than just an outlet for news and interviews. Check out some of the trouble we got ourselves into in this preview of content coming your way.

What can one do to earn press passes? If you dont mind my asking

Hey. Before tickets go on sale, you’ll usually find a link to press registration on their site. They’ll ask you for links to articles as examples of you being a competent press site, and how many unique monthly views your site receives. Obviously, the more the better.
